2022 SIGNALS
REUNION IN HOBART
The Tasmanian RA Sigs Association is sponsoring the
milestone 35th Anniversary Reunion for former
members of the Hobart Signal Squadron which was disbanded
following changes in Federal Govt., policy in 1987.
The Reunion will
be held over the Corps Commemorative weekend 4th-6th November
in Hobart. The Association is looking to contact as many of
the former ARA Cadre, National Service, CMF/ARES Sqn members
as possible to invite them to join in the activities planned.
The Tasmanian
Association is one of the more active RA Sigs bodies meeting
at least monthly for social activities at the Hobart RAAF
Memorial Centre (1st Friday each month from 1630;
excluding January). The Association also conducts a series of
dinners, lunches, commemorative services and occasional visits
to other parts of the State to renew acquaintances with
members in other regions.
The 2022
anniversary Reunion will be the fifth occasion that the RA
Sigs Association (Tas) has sponsored the events. The last,
held in 2017, attracted over some 80 former members and their
partners from all States.
