RASIGS NATIONAL REUNION TOWNSVILLE QUEENSLAND JUNE 2020

After discussions with Lofty Evans and Bruce Long, it is planned we conduct a RASigs National Reunion in Townsville 17 to 23 June 2020.   We need  people to email info@rasigs.com telling us they will come.   We need to see the numbers we can hope for so we can organise catering etc, its all go, so get there. 


7 Sig Regiment 70th Birthday

G'day Adam.
7 Sig will be conducting a ceremonial parade, with the Princess Royal Banner, on Nov 4 at 10am.
Following the parade there will be a dedication of a plaque honouring the service of LtCol C.J. Cattanach and a luncheon.
Any intending ex-members who wish to attend should notify me by email or at 375 West Street Toowoomba Qld 4350.
Early arrival for the 10am parade is advised and the wearing of medals is appropriate.

 Would you please send this far and wide. Hopefully all personnel based in Canberra can join us for the Last Post Ceremony on 4 November. 

Please do not reply to me, just come and support this very important event in our RASigs Association calendar.   All details of the Last Post Ceremony are on the AWM website, timings etc. Bruce, would you please post this on the website, thank you.

The AWM have been in contact and we are all set for the Last Post Ceremony the 4th November. The Historical society have very kindly arranged for a Signalman whom we can especially remember on the day. Details below.

 

Details of our signalman: RA Sigs Last Post Ceremony for 4 November. We have scheduled the story of Lance Corporal Leonard Charles Elias, 1st Australian Wireless Signal Squadron.
